Do you love a good mystery?  Do you love to quilt?  If the answer to both questions is a resounds "YES", then you have found the perfect place!

First, let me define what this Mystery Quilt is. It's going to be a quilting project that is done in stages over an extended period of time. It is a small, fairly easy project that is due to be finished by October 1, 2001. It is also free!

This Mystery has concluded and I am no longer taking subscriptions. Please be sure to check the Mystery Page for other mysteries currently offered. To view finished quilts from this MQ, please check out the Gallery or you may purchase this pattern at YOUnique Designs

MYSTERY QUILT PATTERN

The Mystery Quilt is a quilted project that is related to the Christmas season, however, if you do not celebrate Christmas, or if you prefer another season, it can be adjusted to fit your needs simply by choosing different (non-Christmas) fabrics. Instructions are distributed every 7-14 days and are given in short spurts, so that even the busiest people can participate. If you think this project is going to be too "easy" and want to spend more time playing with it, the final product of this mystery makes an excellent gift, so make more than one! Or make several for different holidays.

SKILL LEVEL

This pattern is good for anyone. It involves only basic piecing and no appliqué (although you may have an option to appliqué something). It is small enough that it can be done by hand, if you wish. It would be a great "portable" project.

GALLERY

Since there is no cost for this project, I am graciously asking that each one that completes it to send me a picture (if you have the means to) of the finished product so that I can add it to the Gallery. I'd also like to continue offering free mystery projects and to be able to see results would give me the incentive I'd need to keep doing it! :)

     I really would appreciate it.

THE PATTERN!

Due to a computer crash during the winter of 2001/2002, the mystery files for this quilt are no longer available, however, the pattern is for sale at YOUnique Designs.
