FINISHED QUILTS!

A new project began on the Quilting Passion Forum on 03/04/03 in which we began making quilts for our very own special members that were having a brand new bundle of joy added to their family!

Baby Quilt for Litia's "Wee One"
Mailing deadline for blocks: March 27, 2007

As you know, Litia is currently expecting an addition to her family, a little "wee one" who will soon be blessing the family with late nights, diapers, and spit-up. :) Valerie is organizing a baby quilt for Litia and her baby and asking for your help!

We will be making Friendship Star blocks for this quilt. Blocks will be 9-1/2" unfinished. The background will be any white on white (WOW) fabric, and the star will be done in any 1930's fabric. Please use only one WOW fabric and one 1930's fabric per star, however if you want to contribute more than one star, each of them can be in different fabrics. Quilt shop fabrics are not required, but please be careful to use good quality fabrics... nothing see through or more suited for bandages.

The Friendship Star block pattern can be located on the Quilting Passion Web site.

Use the directions for the 9-1/2" unfinished block with points as pictured. The blue in the pattern is where you'll use the WOW fabric, the gold in the pattern is where you'll use the 1930's fabric.

Please follow the progress of this project on the forum thread.

If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to ask! Thank you all for your participation and generosity!
