On September 27th, our dear friend Brenda (aka Trouble), underwent a 5-way heart bypass. It was finished in less than 4 hours and she's doing well!
We'd like to show Brenda how much we care about her and that we are thinking of her often, so we are making her a quilt as a symbol of our love.
Here are the specifics for the blocks that will be used to make Brenda's quilt:

Blocks are to be 9.5" x 9.5",
unfinished,
Friendship Stars. The pattern given uses blue and yellow.
We are not making blue/yellow blocks. Also, the star
direction goes like the example given below. Refer below for more
block information. |

The deadline for the blocks is 10/15/06. That means that Sally (aka Ponderpiggy) would like to have them in her possession no later than 10/15/06. |

The background of the blocks is to be white on white (WOW). So, where it's blue in the example above, that should be WOW. |

|
The star is to be scrappy, so dive into your stash. So, where it's yellow in the example above, that can be anything from your stash! |

You can make more than 1 block! |

If you want to sign the block, be sure to use permanent ink, and put your forum name and your home state (or country). |
All of the blocks will be mailed to Sally; she will put them together. To find out Sally's mailing address, you can either e-mail her or Peggy (aka PeggyG6).
We already have someone to quilt this quilt and also someone to bind it, however, we still need the following things:

Sally is going to hand-deliver this quilt to Brenda! Don't you wish we could all be there to see Brenda when she's presented with her quilt? :)
This quilt was finished on 03/11/07 and plans are to deliver it to Brenda at the Dallas Quilt Show on 03/17. What a gorgeous quilt! It measures 78" x 90".
