the event that someone "disappears" off of the forum for a length of
time; Helps to alleviate our worry when someone doesn't check in!
Forum members supply their AFK plans to Lynn voluntarily.
Various reasons for being AFK include: Illness,
hospitalization, computer problems, vacation, family/personal
issues/problems, etc. |
Forum members
e-mail their
AFK plans to Lynn. These plans include the beginning
timeframe for the AFK status, but can be either open-ended or a
specific range of dates.
Members can volunteer as
much, or as little, information as they feel comfortable with.
Any information received from a forum
member is not published on the forum or this Web site.
All information received will
only be disclosed to the HA or AHA on an as-needed basis. If
the forum member gives permission to answer queries when someone
"disappears", the information shared is simply that the specific
member is alright and is AFK. Reasons are not disclosed, as
many persons do not wish to announce their vacation plans,
personal/family issues, etc., however, if a member specifies that
the information can be disclosed under certain circumstances, then
the means of doing so will be made clear (for example, via e-mail
inquiries, etc.). |
